Today is National Pinocchio Day! Disney’s Pinocchio was released in 1940 and is an animated musical that remains celebrated to this day. It’s magical soundtrack consists of one of the most memorable and classic tunes to this day: When You Wish Upon a Star. Listen to the track and take note of the use of instruments in the opening segment. What instruments do you hear? What does it play? How does it sound?

Instruction: Help Gepetto collect the right fairy dust that leads to Pinocchio! The collected bags of fairy dust should form an E major scale. If not, looks like you haven’t gotten enough fairy dust and magic to bring Pinocchio back home! Hurry before time runs out and the magic has faded!
