For today's activity though, we invite you to try a simple game - guess the instrument! We play this video and use our instrument cards to play card games with instruments in our lessons. The kids LOVE it and it's such a boost of confidence for them when they can name tricky instruments like the Tuba or a Clarinet!

Even kids as young as 2 years old can play this game! To do this, just place 2 instrument images that are completely different (like a piano and a violin) and play a track with one of the instruments shown. Then have them pick the correct instrument they hear! Even if they can't speak, they know what the instruments sound like and are able to place their (very) small hands on the cards and let you know, even without using words.
