Today is World Students day! It's important to step back today and realize the progress you've made. Whether you started music lessons yesterday, 6 months ago, or 2 years ago, you've made progress.
Luckily, we have devices to record our progress! So look back to your first performances or practices you have recorded somewhere and realize and appreciate the progress you've made. Hard work really pays off, and the more knowledge you have, the more amazing things can come out of your instruments!
And for those who are wondering, just how much progress can be made in a few months or a few years, here's some student feature videos! Many of our students stay with EchoKids for a long time, and we're so fortunate to have some video footage of our recitals (especially when they became virtual from the pandemic). We hope you enjoy and see the progress they've made in their form, pieces, and can help you stay motivated!
Andrew, age 10: 3 years of piano lessons at EchoKids
Soma, age 7: 2 years of piano lessons at EchoKids
Kai, age 12: 1 year of piano lesson at EchoKids
If you have no footage of your performances or practices, today's the day to start! If you did, keep going and record yourself every 3 months per piece. Practicing can be daunting without the goal, so it's good to motivate yourself by looking at the progress you've made - on your own!
