Activity:

Make your very own floating lantern — just like the one in Disney’s Tangled — at home! With these simple materials, you can make a lantern that seems fit for Arindale’s Festival of Lights. Plus, be sure to get creative when it comes to punching holes in step one so that you make your lantern as unique as you are! 

Materials You’ll Need: 

• 1 paper bag per lantern
• glue gun
• 1 battery operated tea light per lantern
• an ornamental hole puncher
• 1 piece of driftwood.

Instructions: 

1. Use the hole puncher to decorate your paper bag
2. Get your plastic lid and dab some glue gun in the center of it 
3. Affix the opened paper bag over the silicone on the plastic lid 
4. Place a lit battery operated tea light inside the bag
