• Balloons
• Elastic bands
• Chopsticks or sticks

Instructions:

1. Begin by selecting your empty tin can and ensuring it has smooth edges. Safety first! We don't want any sharp edges. You can use a tin opener that leaves no sharp edges for this purpose.
2. Take a small handful of rice or lentils and place them into your tin can. Feel free to experiment with different amounts to create unique sounds.
3. Cut the end off the balloon to create a stretchy drumhead. We'll stretch this over the open end of the tin can to complete our drum.
4. Gently stretch the balloon over the open end of your tin can, ensuring it's taut. Then, secure it in place with an elastic band. Your DIY Tin Can Drum is taking shape!
5. Armed with your newly crafted drum, it's time to explore the rhythmic world. Use chopsticks or sticks as drumsticks and let your creativity flow. Experiment with different rhythms and sounds.
