Let’s have fun with colors and create a rainbow!

Materials:

• Colored pom poms (colors preferably should be colors of the rainbow)
• Colored paper (colors preferably should be colors of the rainbow)
• Glue

Instructions:

• Mix together the colored pom poms and sort them according to color
• Cut colored paper into circles, red being the biggest circle, then orange, then yellow etc.
• Stack the circle papers on top of each other from biggest to smallest circle and glue them together
• Then cut it in half
• Glue colored pom poms onto the colored paper according to color

Bonus:

Let's explore another way to have fun with colors! Take the first 5 notes of the Solfege scale - Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol - and let them correspond to Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, and Blue, respectively. Take your left over your pom poms and line them up in any order and way you like them! Once you have done that, head over to the piano/keyboard or any instrument of your choice and play the line you just created! Have fun!
