Materials You'll Need:

• Piano or Keyboard
• 7 different colored dotted stickers (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple, Pink)
• Marker
• Paper

Activity:

• Stick the colored dotted stickers onto the keys of your piano or keyboard
• Stick Red on C, Orange on D, Yellow on E, Green on F, Blue on G, Purple on A, Pink on B (ranging from Middle C to one octave)
• Mark the numbers 1 to 20 on a piece of paper
• Stick a colored dotted sticker onto the paper, one on each number, so that 20 stickers are stuck on the page
• Head over to the piano or keyboard and play the notes in the order of the 20 colored sticker - add your own rhythm to it!

Bonus:

Stick more stickers onto the piano or keyboard, expanding the range to 2 or 3 octaves so explore more melodic ideas! Stick more dotted stickers onto your paper or change the order of the colored stickers to add some variety! Happy exploring :)
